10月31日,香港上市公司中海重工發(fā)布公告,披露業(yè)務(wù)發(fā)展最新情況,努力調(diào)整造船業(yè)務(wù)模式,承包中大型船舶建設(shè)。

On March 13, 2018, China Shipping Heavy Industry reached a cooperation framework agreement with Ruichang Municipal Government and Yangzijiang Shipbuilding on possible cooperation matters. According to the agreement, the Ruichang Municipal Government intends to delineate the limestone mining area in Jinjin Township, Ruichang City (limestone mining area of about 500 million tons of limestone deposits), and the parties will establish a joint venture to participate in the public bidding of the limestone mining area. CSIC believes that the cooperation will allow for the re-integration of Jiangzhou's shipbuilding business, allowing for the cancellation of orders to new buyers through a network of Singapore-listed companies, and will help reduce the financial impact on the Group if the remaining shipbuilding contracts are terminated, thus satisfying the overall interests of the Company and its shareholders.
100 million asset sale and re-leasing in October 2018
On October 12, 2018, China Shipping Heavy Industries announced that Jiangxi Jiangzhou United Shipbuilding Company Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, entered into an asset transfer agreement as seller, buyer Ruichang Ruilian Asset Management Company Limited and guarantor, whereby the seller sold assets to the buyer for RMB100 million. The Purchaser has granted a call option to the Seller to repurchase all or any part of the assets for a consideration during the call option period. Subsequently, the Buyer, as lessor, has entered into a lease agreement with the Seller, as lessee. As a result, the Buyer has agreed to lease the assets from the Seller. The annual rent is $4.35 million from October 15, 2018.
